Responsibilities:
Remove rust and other debris from surfaces to be painted and fill cavities and dents in vehicles, as needed, to create an even surface.
Mask or tape off details and components to avoid contamination and select the proper colors and substances for the project.
Perform the painting of various light rail vehicles and their component with little to no direct supervision.
Must be able to self manage time and complete work before deadlines.
Communicate with other Shops to properly project your time management per job.
Qualifications & Requirements HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
Proven ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Able to troubleshoot issues with surface and paint.
Must have prior professional painting experience within the automotive industry (industrial painting experience will be considered as well).
