Responsibilities:
Work closely with operators during production hours to ensure adherence to practices and standards.
Perform first piece Inspections on all products and assemblies in a machine shop environment.
Maintain accurate and functional quality records according to the applicable rules and regulations.
Cross-train within the Quality Department to increase organizational flexibility.
Provide feedback on how to improve existing processes within the QA Department.
Will be required to learn and utilize M1003 quality program.
Documented training with quality manager for all aspects of job requirements.
Requirements:
Relevant work experience is preferred.
Experience working with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers is required.
Experience working within a Quality Assurance role is preferred.
Equivalent hands-on experience working within a heavy manufacturing, part assembly, or similar industry will be considered.
Relevant education may be considered in lieu of meeting the work experience desired.
Ability to communicate within a team is required.
Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed is required.
